On 13th September 2025, the Uttarakhand Virtual Smart Classroom hosted a special session on First Aid Awareness in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, Uttarakhand Branch. The session was led by Dr. Harshish Chandra Sharma, Department Secretary, Red Cross Society, Uttarakhand, who served as the guest speaker.
Dr. Sharma shared valuable insights on the importance of first aid in everyday life and explained step-by-step processes to handle emergencies such as cuts, burns, fainting, and other common incidents. To make the session more impactful, he also conducted a live practical demonstration, helping students understand the correct way to respond during critical situations.
The program was designed for students of Classes 6, 7, and 8, ensuring that young learners build awareness and confidence in handling emergencies. The interactive format allowed students to observe, ask questions, and develop a hands-on understanding of first aid techniques.
By bringing experts like Dr. Sharma directly into classrooms, the Uttarakhand Virtual Smart Classroom continues to focus on life skills education alongside academics, preparing students not only for exams but also for real-world challenges.
