{"id":1076,"date":"2026-09-18T10:37:19","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T10:37:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ukvirtualeducation.com\/blog\/?p=1076"},"modified":"2026-09-18T10:37:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T10:37:21","slug":"special-session-on-cyber-security-womens-safety","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ukvirtualeducation.com\/blog\/special-session-on-cyber-security-womens-safety\/","title":{"rendered":"SPECIAL SESSION ON CYBER SECURITY &amp; WOMEN\u2019S SAFETY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Uttarakhand Virtual Smart Classrooms initiative<\/strong> hosted a special awareness session on <strong>\u201cCyber Security and Women\u2019s Safety\u201d<\/strong> on <strong>12 September 2026<\/strong>, connecting students through the state\u2019s virtual classroom network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session was conducted by <strong>Shri Shekhar Chandra Suyal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Haridwar<\/strong>, who engaged with students on important aspects of personal safety, cyber awareness and the responsible use of digital technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Building Cyber Awareness Among Students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With students increasingly using smartphones, social media, online learning platforms and other digital services, understanding cyber safety has become an essential part of modern education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, <strong>Shri Shekhar Chandra Suyal<\/strong> sensitised students to common online risks and the precautions they can take to protect themselves. Key areas of discussion included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identifying suspicious messages, links and online communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protecting passwords and personal information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practising safe and responsible social media usage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognising online fraud and cyber threats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reporting suspicious or harmful online activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seeking guidance from trusted adults and appropriate authorities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Promoting Women\u2019s Safety and Awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session also placed special emphasis on <strong>women\u2019s safety<\/strong>, encouraging students to remain aware, confident and prepared in situations that may pose a safety concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion highlighted the importance of recognising warning signs, maintaining situational awareness, seeking timely assistance and reporting incidents through appropriate channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Learning Beyond the Classroom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The special session demonstrated the role of the <strong>Uttarakhand Virtual Smart Classrooms <\/strong>in bringing expert-led learning and awareness programmer directly to students across government schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By connecting students with professionals and public authorities through a centralized virtual learning environment, the initiative extends education beyond academic subjects and creates opportunities for students to learn about issues that affect their everyday lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Empowering Responsible Digital Citizens<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interaction with <strong>Shri Shekhar Chandra Suyal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Haridwar<\/strong>, provided students with practical awareness about staying safe both <strong>online and offline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session reinforced a simple but important message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Awareness, vigilance and timely action are key to building a safer and more responsible
